Forward Planning

Today we had to do forward planning to link on with our calendar work. This was a little tricky because I had to check my grammar made sense and change it in places. I enjoyed it because it gave me a chance to look at what is important to me and share it with everyone. My goal for next time is to put more description in my writing.

Calendar: Long Bike Ride ( 14 kilo meters )

Today we had to look into the future we had to look for what we might do. The third one (This one) was the easiest to complete because I had practice on the other two ones. It was a little tricky at times when I had no clue what to write down! I enjoyed this because it was challenging at times but at the same time, it was super fun! Next time I want to improve on doing it quickly because it was very tricky when I was at the bottom of the learning pit so that is also my goal when I do it next.  By Yazmin.

Calendar: Trip To The Movies

Today we had to look into the future and decide what dates you are going to do stuff. We had to do three of these and this is my second one. I found it a bit easier than the first one because I knew how to do it rather than be stuck and have no clue what to do but now I know for the third one. So it will probably be way easier.  I enjoyed it because we got to write things on the calendar but not save it because you don't know if you are really going to do it. This one took me around 30 minutes

Calendar: Trip to the beach

Today we had to look into the future and decide what dates you're going to do stuff. We had to do three of these and this is my first one. I had a little bit of trouble with this one because I didn't know how to do it. So I watched Miss Farr's video and it helped me with what to do! the other ones were easier I enjoyed it because we got to write things on the calendar but not save it because you don't know if you are really going to do it. Milla and Me
Today we had to write a story about a special place for me and my Family. Our family one was Fiji because we go there at least every second year since I was 4 years old with our friends Steve, Olivia, Josh, Nathan, and Sophie. We have also taken Nana and Grandad Uncle lee, Aunty Lou and my wee cousins Jack and Edan for Grandads 65 birthday last October. I enjoyed doing this activity because it brings back special memories. It was a little tricky because there is so much I love about it!

What I Have Done This Year

Today we had to make something that showed what we had done in the past year! This is a slideshow with photo's and on each slide, it has a video of what the photos mean to me. I enjoyed making this because it was fun and we got to be creative! It was a little hard to get all of the photos in because on one of the slides the slide is crammed with photos.

Haast Evening Star News Report

Today we had to do something called The Nobody News. It is a news report on your grandparents or someone that is the age of one of your grandparents. We had to email them the questions on this slide and they had to answer back. Nana answered later than usual because I mucked up but it was my first time doing that. I enjoyed that because you got to communicate with your grandparents we had to do it because it was one of our must do's but I was really excited about it! By Yazmin

Haast Evening Star News Report

Today we had to write a News Report on our grandparents or someone that is the age of one of your grandparents. We had to do this because it was one of our must do's but I wanted to do it because I love my family and it was cool that we got to do it. When I did it I Emailed Nana the wrong thing because nana can't video call so I had to email her at the end of the day ( 5.00 P.M ) to try and do this. I enjoyed this because I haven't done a News Report on anything in my whole entire life!! so this was really exciting for me to do for once! By Yazmin

Stolen Stars Of Matariki Book Report

WALT: Fill out a book report on our Chromebooks. We had to fill out this google drawing book report sheet on the stolen stars of Matariki for our last day of learning about Matariki for the term.
I enjoyed doing this because it is a legend about Matariki and I love reading books and it also makes you look deeper into the books.
